Have you ever had the feeling that you were being watched? No? Well, count yourself in as lucky.
You see, this is not a trollpasta; nor is it even a creepy pasta; it is a true story which I have actually experienced.
One day, I went to my bedroom at night after going through my regular bedtime routines, and I was hit by this creepy feeling--something was off, and I could not put my finger on it. Then, my closet door opened slightly. It wasn't like in the horror movies where doors would open slowly while creaking, no. It just opened silently by an inch or so.
I shrugged it off; my house was pretty old, after all, so the door probably just opened due to the wind that always made it through my walls.
I went to sleep, still with the feeling that something was wrong.
At the middle of the night I woke up suddenly; it wasn't a nightmare, I did not see a monster, I just woke up, that's all.
At least that was what I tried to convince myself into thinking.
I was not able to go back to sleep, so I went on my laptop. The familiar Windows 7 startup tune blared out of its mono speakers, and in seconds, I entered my familiar Ubuntu desktop. I looked at the clock, and it said that it was 3:14 am. I decided to start a video conversation with my girlfriend in Tokyo on hangouts (don't you love chromebooks), but hangouts did not open. Instead, I just saw a notification saying "no escape!". I thought that it was just a bug or glitch or something. Oh, well, Apple makes bad technology, right?
So I went downstairs to get a drink, and I saw that it was still 3:14. That's weird, considering how my old desktop took 5 minutes or so to start up.
I shrugged it off; after all, my microwave clock must have been messed up by daylight savings time or something.
I took a tetra pack of juice from the fridge, and went back upstairs. I opened my chromebook (which was made by apple, by the way), and I checked my myspace page. I looked at the clock in the system tray, and it said that it was still 3:14. That was weird. Maybe there's something wrong with my computer.
So I checked online, and there it was again, the pesky 3:14.
Then I saw a notification on my computer, it said "time is going in circles. NO ESCAEP".
I knew what that meant. So I tried to kill myself to get out of the circle. I drove my laptop down a car.
At the middle of the night I woke up suddenly; it wasn't a nightmare, I did not see a monster, I just woke up, that's all.
At least that was what I tried to convince myself into thinking.
